SHANNON FINK/LOCAL 2009 PRESIDENT

Hello my name is Shannon Fink. I was born in Southern Indiana on February 12, 1972. I lived and grew up there until 1987 when I moved with my family to Milton, West Virginia. After High School I attended college and earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Immediately after college I went straight to work for MCI Communications. After two years traveling the east coast I was hired as an Engineering Assistant for Bell Atlantic which then became Verizon. I have worked at Verizon for nine years and thanks to their tuition assistance earned my Master’s Degree in Business Administration.

I became an active member in Local 2001 and then a Job Steward after several retired in Engineering. I had the opportunity to transfer to Huntington, West Virginia and thus became a member of Local 2009. In 2006 I successfully ran for President. In my down time I enjoy reading, cycling, camping, softball, tail gating, golf, hunting, and fishing.
